CARE GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
THE MAIDEN BURN
The first burn of your Maison Mian candle is crucial to its overall performance. To ensure your candle burns evenly throughout its life, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface to the edge of the glass on its initial light. This creates a 'memory pool' that will prevent tunnelling and allow your candle to burn evenly every time you light it.
MINDFUL BURNING
While it's tempting to enjoy your Maison Mian candle for extended periods, we recommend refraining from burning it for more than four hours at a time. This not only preserves the candle's longevity but also maintains the optimal aroma release, ensuring your spaces are filled with our carefully crafted scents at their best.
WICK MAINTENENCE
A well-maintained wick is essential for a well-performing candle. Ensure you trim the wick to 5mm before each use. This simple act helps prevent soot build-up and promotes an even burn, enhancing your candle's performance and lifespan.
SAFE USE
Your safety is paramount to us. Never leave a burning Maison Mian candle unattended. Always keep our candles out of reach of children and pets. We recommend placing your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and flammable objects before lighting.
THE FINAL GLOW
To maintain the integrity of the candle and its container, stop burning when only 1cm of wax is left at the bottom of the glass. This helps protect the glass from excessive heat, maintaining its beauty for future use.
